One of the main guild's activities are Wars. Guilds can fight each other in order to earn rewards. This happens on two levels: through actual Wars, which are quite short and happen between two guilds, and GvG Seasons, which award guilds based on their performance in Wars compared to other guilds'.

Guild Wars: An Officer of a guild can start a War with another guild. The War lasts for 19 hours and every guild member can participate.$nlGuild members may contribute to the War effort in one of two ways: either by fighting normal PvP battles, which gives relatively small War points, or by using Compasses to attack a player from the opposing guild - which is worth significantly more. Compasses are a limited resource. Every guild member who is in the guild at the start of a War receives 3 Compasses. More Compasses can be earned by winning stars in PvP battles, although this has diminishing returns as the number of stars to get the next Compass increases. Therefore be careful with your Compasses! Use them to attack villages that give your guild a lot of points, but be careful not to lose a battle - it can cost you a lot of time to gain another Compass. Also remember to use War Horns. This is a special unit given to all guild members at the start of a War.$nlWhen the 19 hours timer runs out, the War ends, and the guild with the highest total War score wins. Every member is rewarded with Gems. This reward might get a bonus, if the player performed better than their guild's average.

GvG Season: Wars happen during Seasons. Total War score from each War is added up to the guild's total War score for the Season. When the Season ends, guilds are rewarded for their performance in the entire Season, based on the bracket they are in and their position in that bracket. Again, performance bonuses are applied to the players who got more War points than the Season's average. The bracket that your guild is in is determined on guild's performance during the previous two Seasons (the highest total War score is used). All guilds are sorted by their results, and assigned to one of 10 brackets (of various sizes). Bigger brackets might be split into 2 or more clones, each one giving the same rewards. Also, should the number of active guilds be significantly low for any reason, some brackets might be removed for the next Season. The sizes of the remaining brackets are then recalculated based on their weights - their relative sizes will mostly stay the same, although the exact percentages of the total guilds in each one will change.

Guild vs Guild

Guild Wars[]

A guild needs minimum 5 members to participate in Guild Wars. It is possible to have up to 80 members in the guild.

Guild Wars

Season[]

A season lasts for 8 days. It starts with a 14 hours cool down/peacetime which is needed to reset the previous season and to calculate the new season. Each season consists of 9 matches/wars (Guild Verses Guild). The first 8 wars of a season are last for 19 hours each and the last war for 17 hours. After every war is a cool down for 1 hour.

If you want see how much time left till the end of the season, then you need only to press the button "Guilds" in the game on the bottom right. Then on the button "Season" on the top.

Season Time
Season Time remain

Matchmaking[]

The matches are fully automated. The system takes the entire final ranking of the previous season and makes groups of 10 guilds. The first 10 at the top together, the next 10, the next 10, etc etc until the bottom. For this the system takes the global ranking of the points from the previous season and not the ranking of the bracket. During the season the guilds will have a war with each guild in their group.

Matches / Guild Wars[]

After every cool down the Guild Wars start automatically. Then the guilds have 19 hours (17 hours in the last war) to get as many points as they can. The goal is to win the wars and to reach a high rank in the bracket and in the global ranking. The rewards will be gems, crowns and honor points for a victory of a single war and gems for the rank in the bracket at the end of the season.

Matches

War Horn[]

The War Horn is a special unit given to all guild members at the start of each war. They don’t take space in the boats and will give a 30% faster bonus to the troops in his range. Max. 20 war horns are available at one time. They can be collected in the logs during the war until the end of the peacetime / cool down after the war (before the next war starts).

War Horn

Note: It makes sense to collect the War Horns before the new war starts, to have the maximum amount of war horns in the next war even if only a few got used in the previous war.

War Points[]

Every guild member can participate in the wars. Guild members may contribute to the war effort in one of two ways: Either by fighting normal PvP battles, which gives relatively small points, or by using Compasses to attack a player from the opposing guild. Compasses are limited and must be earned with PvP.

War Points 1

After a player earned 10 compasses he gets 1,5x war points by PvP. It does not matter whether the compasses have already been used or not.

War Points 2

Example: TH 14 vs. TH 14 - destroyed 100%:

Normal PvP: 98 wp

After 10 compasses got earned: 147 wp (98 wp x 1,5)

War Points 3

Guild fights give more points. They can only be done by using compasses. Since there is a limit of 10 compasses, it is important to spend them wisely. The points of the guild fights are based on the Townhall level of the opponent. The Townhall bonus, which got already added to the guild fight points, is based on the Townhall level of the attacker (the own Townhall level).

Example:

A player with Townhall level 13 attacks a town with Townhall level 14 first time:

GF: 980 war points + 250 Townhall Bonus = 1230 war points

or:

A player with Townhall level 14 attacks a town with Townhall level 14 first time:

GF: 980 war points + 300 Townhall Bonus = 1280 war points

During every battle (GF and PvP) it is possible to get up to 3 stars. At least one star is required for a victory.

1 Star: for destroying 50% of the town

1 Star: for destroying the Townhall

1 Star: for destroying 100% of the town

War Points 4

Each obtained star gives a percentage of the total score.

1st Star = +20% of the total war points

2nd Star = +30% of the total war points

3rd Star = +50% of the total war points

Example:

PvP on a town with Townhall level 14 - total war points 98:

1st star = +20% ~ +20 wp

2nd star =+30% ~ +29 wp

3rd star = +50% ~ +49 wp

or:

3rd GF on a town with Townhall level 14 and with a Townhall Bonus of +300 - Total war points 1476:

1st star = +20% ~ +296 wp

2nd star = +30% ~ +442 wp

3rd star = +50% ~ +738 wp

War Points 5

The points that each guild member receives will be added to the total war points of the entire guild.

Note: If a player leaves a guild during a war, his points will be removed from the total war points from these war of the entire guild, while the points which the opponent's guild scored on his town will stay.

Compasses[]

Compasses 5
Compasses 6

More information about the Worthy Opponent Bonus see below.

Compasses can already be earned during the 1 hour peacetime between the wars for the following wars. The PvP's to earn the stars for these compasses don't give any points. The 3 free compasses get added at the beginning of the next war.

Compasses 7

During the 14 hours peacetime at the beginning of the season it isn't possible to earn Compasses.

Compasses 8

Note:

  • If a player joins to a guild in the one hour peacetime between two wars he will starts with 3 free compasses in the following war, but he has to earn more stars as normal for all the other compasses. In the next war it will be normal again. Example: To get Compass 4 he has to earn 45 stars (normal: 3 stars)
Compasses 9

  • If a player joins to a guild during a war, he will starts with "0" compasses and has to earn more stars to get compasses as normal in the current war. In the next war it will be normal again. Example: To get the first Compass he has to earn 45 stars
Compasses 10

  • If a player was inactive 7 days in follow or longer he will starts without the free 3 Compasses when he is active again. He has to earn the normal amount of stars to get Compasses. Example: To get the first Compass he has to earn 3 stars.
Compasses 11

  • All earned Compasses (during and before the war) get removed at the end of the war and can't be used in the following war.

Worthy Opponent Bonus[]

Worthy Opponent Bonus 1

Attacking a harder Opponent in PvP gives double stars, the "Worthy Opponent Bonus". This double stars help to earn the compasses faster.

The "Worthy Opponent Bonus" is based on the Townhall level. A worthy opponent has a higher or the same Townhall level as the attacker (the own Townhall level). A player will get it also on one lower Townhall level until his own Townhall is in level 12. If the Townhall is in level 13 he will get it on two lower level and if the Townhall is in level 14 he will get it on three lower level.

Example:

Townhall level 10 player gets it on Townhall level 14, 13, 12, 11, 10 and 9

Townhall level 11 player gets it on Townhall level 14, 13, 12, 11 and 10

Townhall level 12 player gets it on Townhall level 14, 13, 12 and 11

Townhall level 13 player gets it on Townhall level 14, 13, 12 and 11

Townhall level 14 player gets it on Townhall level 14, 13, 12 and 11

Before a battle starts a player is able to see if the opponent is a Worthy Opponent or not on the top right.

Guild Fights[]

Guild Fights 1
Guild Fights 3

Guild Fights can only be done by using Compasses. One Guild Fight = One Compass.

Guild Fights 2

On the War Panel is the button Guild Fight. This button brings the player to the list of the opposing towns.

Guild Fights 4

The list of the opposing towns starts always with the player in the highest personal level. If the towns on the top are too strong the player is able to use the scroll bar to scroll downwards.

Guild Fights 5

Guild Fights 6

Since there is a limit of 10 compasses it is important to choose the town wisely to reach as many points as it is possible.

After a town got chosen, the player has unlimited time to take a look if and how he wants attack this town. If a player doesn't want attack this town, he is able to jump to the rank above or below on the bottom right or he can leave the battle. To attack the town he needs only to send troops on the field.

Guild Fights 7
Guild Fights 8

After a victory the same town can be attacked again, but the defense will be stronger than before. After a lost the same town can also be attacked again, but in the same level as before. It is possible to attack the same again and again until three victories got reached on this town.

Note:

- A lost doesn't give points, but takes always a compass.

- A victory with less than three stars gives less points. (See War Points above).

If a player left a guild, then his town get removed from the list of the opposing towns and can't be attacked anymore.

A pending Player doesn't show up in the list and his town can't be attacked until he got accepted in the guild.

Note:

Guild Fights are only Ghost attacks. It hasn't any effect to the player who got attacked by a Guild Fight.

- Resources are not taken, even the attacker earned them.

- Crowns don't get reduced and can't be earned on Guild Fights.

Status of the Towns[]

The list of the opposing towns is already created at the beginning of the war. The player levels, Townhall levels and the view of the possible points for the guild fights don't change during a war on this list.

The town itself has always the current status.

Example:

If someone requests troops during a war and gets them, these will be in his Guild house immediately.

or

If someone finished the upgrade of his Townhall, the attacker gets the points for the higher Townhall level, even in the list are still the lower points.

Rewards[]
